Lorraine Kendel
Lorraine was a Canadian artist from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, whose passion for painting spanned more than three decades. Constantly exploring new techniques and materials, she worked in oils, watercolors, acrylics, and alcohol ink, embracing each medium for its unique possibilities.
Inspired by the beauty of the world around her, Lorraine created artwork that reflected both creativity and a lifelong love of learning. Whether working with the rich textures of oil paint or the fluid spontaneity of alcohol ink, she approached every piece with curiosity, patience, and joy.
Although pancreatic cancer brought her painting journey to an end in the autumn of 2023, Lorraine's artwork continues to celebrate her creative spirit and the passion she brought to every canvas.
