Manny Rodriguez
Manny was an incredibly talented and creative soul who deeply appreciated the beauty in the world around him. Though he grew up in New Jersey, his love for sunshine, the beach, and warm weather eventually led him to make Florida his home.
He spent countless hours in his art room; a small, chaotic space lovingly described by his family as his “mad scientist” lab. Surrounded by glasses that had small magnifying lenses on them, scattered tools, and half-finished projects, Manny thrived in the world of creativity. He expressed himself through sketching, painting, photography, 3D printing, sewing ;anything that allowed him to bring his imagination to life.
While most of his creations were made for his own joy, Manny often surprised his loved ones with thoughtful, handmade gifts , from custom-painted shoes and costumes to detailed drawings and beautiful paintings. These pieces weren’t just gifts; they were extensions of his heart, and each one carried a piece of him.
As his family, we cherished every creation he shared with us and now, in his absence, they have become treasured keepsakes. Though we lost Manny far too soon, at just 46 years old, and his beloved wife Angela at 56, due to a tragic accident caused by a reckless driver on January 3rd, 2025, his artistic spirit lives on in every piece he left behind.
Manny may no longer be here to create, but his voice, love, and joy will continue to live on through his art that he left with us.
