Manny Rodriguez
Manny was a gifted, self-taught artist whose creativity touched every part of his life. Raised in New Jersey before making his home in Florida, he found inspiration in sunshine, the beach, and the beauty of the world around him. Whether sketching, painting, photographing, 3D printing, sewing, or experimenting with new ideas, Manny was happiest when he was creating.
His family affectionately called his art room his "mad scientist" lab, a small, bustling space filled with magnifying glasses, scattered tools, and half-finished projects waiting to come to life. For Manny, creativity had no limits. Every new medium was another opportunity to imagine, build, and express himself.
Although he created primarily for the joy of making art, Manny delighted in sharing his talent with others. He surprised family and friends with handmade gifts, from custom-painted shoes and costumes to detailed drawings and vibrant paintings. Each piece reflected not only his artistic skill but also the generosity and love he poured into everything he made.
Manny's life was tragically cut short on January 3, 2025, when he and his beloved wife, Angela, were killed in an automobile accident caused by a reckless driver. He was just 46 years old. Today, the artwork he left behind serves as a lasting reminder of his imagination, kindness, and the joy he brought to those who knew and loved him.
