Timmy Tee Smith
Born in 1994, Timmy "Tee" Smith discovered his passion for music at an early age. Inspired by some of the industry's greatest artists, he developed his own voice as a rapper and songwriter, using music to share honest messages that others could relate to. For Tee, creating music was never about image or reputation. It was about authenticity, purpose, and connecting with people through his words.
Proud to write his own lyrics, Tee believed hip-hop had the power to challenge stereotypes and inspire change. He understood that many artists were often misunderstood and hoped his music would help reshape those perceptions by emphasizing sincerity, personal growth, and meaningful storytelling. Every song reflected his commitment to expressing himself with honesty and heart.
His philosophy is best captured in his own words:
"Being a rapper isn't how tough your front is, how 'gangsta' you are, or how hard 'your crew' is: being a rapper is being proud of what you do, being able to see that you've impacted someone's life, and feeling a sense of pride with the message you conveyed to your audience. Music isn't just a look... Music is my life."
Although his life was far too short, Tee's lyrics and vision continue to reflect the artist he aspired to be: one who believed music could connect people, challenge assumptions, and leave a lasting impact.
