Laura Brooke Buonpastore
Laura Brooke Buonpastore was a gifted young singer-songwriter whose love of music began at an early age. She started taking voice lessons at just seven years old and quickly developed into a talented performer, appearing in shows and festivals throughout Palm Beach County, Florida. In addition to singing, Laura taught herself to play the guitar and began writing her own songs.
Laura had recently completed the vocal program at the highly regarded Bak Middle School of the Arts in West Palm Beach and had been accepted into the prestigious Alexander W. Dreyfoos Jr. School of the Arts, where she planned to continue pursuing her passion for music.
On the day of her tragic death in a car accident at the age of fourteen, Laura had been in the recording studio working on her first single, "Right Place, Wrong Time." Her music career was only just beginning.
In November 2007, Laura's debut CD was released posthumously during a benefit concert for the Laura Brooke Music Foundation, ensuring that her beautiful voice and original songs would continue to be heard. Her music remains available on iTunes and Spotify, allowing listeners to experience the remarkable talent and promise of a young artist whose life ended far too soon.
