Keymar Hart
Keymar was an artist, photographer, educator, mentor whose passion for art was evident from an early age. He attended the duCret School of Art as a young student and later continued his studies at the Art Institute of New York before graduating from Kean University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art.
Art was central to Keymar's life. He had a small photography studio and enjoyed sharing his creativity with others. He also found great fulfillment in mentoring young people and teaching art to children. Those who knew him remember his kindness, generous spirit, and desire to help others.
Through his artwork, Keymar expressed his unique imagination and perspective. His creative legacy lives on through the work he left behind and the many lives he touched.
On June 17, 2023, while playing basketball with his nephew, Keymar unexpectedly collapsed on the court and passed away at the age of 29. In the words of his family, "his heart was literally too big to keep beating here on earth, but his light is shining bright in heaven."
