Johnathan Michael Rivera
From an early age, Johnathan found joy in drawing and painting, filling sketchbooks and canvases with everything from sweeping landscapes to superheroes and his favorite cartoon characters. His natural artistic ability was evident even as a child. His Japanese Landscape, created with intricate India ink techniques, earned first place in a grammar school art competition and showcased a talent well beyond his years.
Johnathan approached art with curiosity, imagination, and remarkable attention to detail. Whether creating original paintings or bringing beloved characters to life, his work reflected both technical skill and a genuine love of the creative process.
Although his life was cut short in 2019 at just 32 years old, the artwork Johnathan left behind continues to celebrate his creativity and the passion for art that remained with him throughout his life. His paintings and drawings stand as a lasting reminder of his talent, imagination, and unique artistic spirit.
