The Music He Left Behind
By Sandi Trombino
Julius had a sincere love for people, all people. He truly saw the best in everyone he met and admired their individual gifts. He made others feel loved and respected, always protective of the vulnerable among us. He was fearless , funny, tough, very smart, exceptionally athletic, and well known for his gift of music. From the age of five, Julius loved to play piano and sing. His music filled his childhood home consisting of two older sisters, Mom and Dad. The silence left behind now that he is gone is a painful reminder of how special his presence was. Julius was always a perceptive, sensitive soul and used songwriting to deal with the highs and lows he felt. He began songwriting, producing, and recording his own music at the age of twelve. Some of his songs were international songwriting contest winners and one song made it into a major Hollywood movie. His band “Julius” performed his original songs at all of the major live music venues in NJ and NY. He loved teaching at the “School of Rock” and planned on a future career in psychology. He was truly loved by so many and as a beautiful tribute, many of his friends have designed Love More tattoos on themselves. His family has a charity in his honor which provides music therapy for those at risk for addiction. His Mom has written a full- length musical script featuring his original pop-rock songs and life story to continue his mission of warning others about the dangers of illicit drugs. It will be released on social media sites during 2026 in short episodes.
