Amanda is an award-winning Nigerian American Broadcast Journalist, Anchor. Artist, Spoken Word Poet, Film-Maker, and Educator. She uses her love for the arts to address socio- political issues, and contemporary culture prevalent in society today.

She has a globally touring workshop series, "The Poet Speaks" which is an engaging experience into the culture of African Oral traditions, and Spoken Word Poetry, held for all ages. Amanda is also the host of a podcast show of the same name.
