Terri Salerno
Terri was the lead vocalist of the New Jersey hard rock band Broken Angels, where her powerful voice and dynamic stage presence became the heart of the group's performances. The band played a mix of original music and classic rock covers, performing regularly throughout New Jersey, New York, and Maryland and recording an EP titled Broken Angels.
Music was more than a passion for Terri. It was a way to connect with others and build community. Alongside her son, Wayne, the band's lead guitarist, she combined her love of performing with a commitment to giving back. Together, they supported numerous charitable organizations and were recognized by The Star-Ledger for their dedication to helping others.
Terri's warmth, generosity, and love of music left a lasting impression on audiences wherever she performed. She passed away in 2020 due to complications from COVID-19 at the age of 58. Today, her musical legacy lives on through the recordings she made with Broken Angels and through Wayne, who continues to perform with the New Jersey hard rock band Reign of the Hated, carrying forward the passion for music they shared.
