Elizabeth Hetherington
Elizabeth was a gifted Canadian artist from North Vancouver, British Columbia. A beloved daughter, devoted big sister, and cherished friend, she embraced life with curiosity and adventure, living in several countries around the world while always considering North Vancouver her home.
Art was one of Elizabeth's greatest passions. She devoted herself to creating, expressing her imagination and sensitivity through her work. Friends remember her as a beautiful soul with an infectious laugh, a radiant smile, and a remarkable talent for art. Deeply compassionate, she cared profoundly about people, animals, and the natural world.
Elizabeth struggled with depression for many years. While some may say she died by suicide, her family believes she died from the illness of depression after a long and courageous battle. She passed away at the age of 26, leaving behind artwork that reflects her creative spirit and a legacy of kindness that continues to touch all who knew and loved her.
