Becca Luna-Leibowits

Becca was a gifted artist whose creative journey began at an early age. Recognized for her exceptional talent, she enrolled in classes at the Art Students League of New York at just eight years old before continuing her artistic education at Pratt Institute. She later interned at Devil's Ink Tattoo in East Harlem, where she developed a passion for tattooing and the idea of the human body as a living canvas.

Working in drawing, painting, and tattoo design, Becca created deeply personal artwork that reflected her emotional experiences with honesty and intensity. Her pieces explored themes of identity, vulnerability, and transformation, revealing an artist unafraid to express both beauty and struggle through her work.

Becca's life was marked by extraordinary creativity as well as the challenges of living with mental illness. She passed away from an accidental overdose on January 21, 2021. Though her life was cut short, her artwork endures as a powerful expression of her imagination, courage, and unique artistic voice.
